It’s winter, and we all are again vulnerable to flu. Although the company I work for offers flu shots, I have not taken part in the tradition.
However, one cannot go totally unprepared. I enlisted the help from my colleague, and I now have something to fight germs without soap and water at desk.
To further strengthen the defense, masks are also important in keeping the germs contained and keeping people around you healthy.
I think it’s still the best practice to wash hands regularly, avoiding contact with the nose and mouth after touching public surfaces, including door knobs, keyboards, elevator buttons, shopping carts, because you never know who touched it last and what was left on it.
