It’s been a long time since we dine out. A newly open restaurant, and we decided to go and enjoy on a Saturday evening.
I ordered the Classic Hot Chicken Sandwich – Good, but the gravy was a bit much. Could have been served on the side in a separate bowl.
Rotisserie Chicken Club Wrap – Tasty, and just the right texture for the chicken.
Quarter Chicken Dinner – with Multigrain Roll and the choice of side Oven-Baked Potato
Quarter Chicken Dinner – with White Roll and the choice of side Garden Salad
Red Velvet Cake – very yummy.
Last Saturday, I took my family to this family-style Korean restaurant on Lonsdale.
Pork Bones & Potatoes in Spicy Soup
Marinated LA style beef rib w/ veggie
Kimchi Jungol – SPAM, tofu, kimchi soup, rice noodle, and pork
Spicy House has good food, and it’s fit on a tight budget as well. Good portion with great taste.
Last week, I went to the cafe close to my work and order a “spring chicken” sandwich. Hmmm, either that’s very chewy or good labelling. Interesting. It’s actually not bad, and with it being grilled, it adds that warmth needed in the cold winter.
On the way home, I snapped this picture:
That’s Lions Gate Bridge in the middle.
Another postcard-perfect day, we decided to go to De Dutch for breakfast.
She had a Mushroom Scramble, while I was treated to a De Bratwurst Breakfast. The food is always amazing, but what even surprised both of us is that we both cleaned the plates.
We then went to Ambleside and Dundarave for a short walk.
Here you can see Lions Gate Bridge in the distance, with Ambleside on the left and Stanley Park on the right. The perfect sun reflection of the water makes it another great photo.
