Taipei, Taiwan – An Underrated City to Visit?

I browsed the web today, and came across this article on the Vancouver Sun website:

The world’s 24 most underrated cities to visit (including one in Canada)

 

and in the caption of the photo, it says that Taipei is one of Asia’s most pleasant capitals, featuring green spaces and access to Yangmingshan National Park for breathtaking views and therapeutic hot springs.

I think Taiwan is one of the most beautiful places in the world. The people there are friendly, and often everywhere you go, you see the traditional cultural value held deeply in them, the desire to strive to do better, to challenge themselves. All these are reflected in Taiwan’s quest to achieve number one in “soft power.”
