Milestones Dinner

It’s Friday night, and my wife and I decided to dine out in a restaurant, which is a rare thing because we usually just go to the food court and eat. This time, we chose Milestones Restaurant in West Vancouver.

We ordered an appy called Port Croquettes. Tender pork, smoked bacon, and AAA prime rib, all mixed and fried in a panko breading.

My wife ordered the AAA Prime Rib, while I had the Top Sirloin. Both were absolutely delicious. At $23.99 and $20.99 respectively, the meat was tender. Combined with the mashed potato and the horseradish on the side, it was quite an enjoyment.

What would dinner be without a dessert? We ordered the $8.99 Strawberry Shortcake.

Later in the evening, we went to Lonsdale Quay and decided to stop by the Night Market. It’s rather a small gathering, and there were some handcrafted jewelry, designer clothing, some gourmet food, and live performances. It is on Fridays from 5pm – 11pm. It took us probably 10 minutes to check out all the stands. For the most part, we felt that the lighting was insufficient, and there weren’t enough novelties to keep us there. We did, however, enjoy the beautiful downtown view.
